About the Sunburst Decorative Rattan Mirror

With thick rattan stems bent and sculpted into a flower/sunburst silhouette, this nature-inspired mirror brightens any room in your home, from the hallway to your dressing table. The mirror is intricately crafted with natural stems by artisans from northern Vietnam using rattan. Rattan is a climbing palm found in Southeast Asia; and similar to the strength and durability of bamboo, rattan has been used for many years to make baskets and trays. At Hathorway, our rattan is carefully planted, harvested, sorted, and dried in Nam Dinh province, Vietnam. Add a modern yet timeless Southeast Asian touch to your home. This mirror comes with a triangular ring ready to hang; hanging hardware is not included.

Note: Since each rattan tray is handmade with completely natural material, expect small variations in size, color, and pattern.

About Hathorway

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Hathorway is an eco-friendly accessory brand defined by geometric yet minimalist silhouettes. Each piece is designed by the designer, who wanted to reconnect with her Vietnamese heritage by preserving a 400-year-old craft that uses ethically sourced buffalo horns, a material—like leather—sourced from surplus and the food industry in Vietnam. As an organic brand, each piece will be completely unique, each possessing its own exquisite patterns. Hathorway is short for Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of love and beauty, known for her iconic headdress made of cow horns.
